ToC – RASTA Project

Ms. Sameen Ali, Manager Communications at Manchester Global Foundation, conducted an engaging workshop on Theory of Change (ToC) for Planning and Impact Assessment on 8th July 2025. The session introduced participants to the six-stage ToC process, emphasizing how it helps organizations map out barriers, identify stakeholders, and define clear short-, medium-, and long-term goals. Using real-life reflections and interactive exercises, Ms. Ali guided participants to think critically about how meaningful change can be achieved through collaborative planning and evidence-informed strategies.

The workshop placed particular focus on enhancing youth well-being by improving access to local sports spaces. Participants explored causal pathways, developed vision statements, and articulated assumptions to design effective interventions. By the end of the session, they gained practical skills in building ToC frameworks that not only guide project planning but also strengthen accountability, inclusivity, and long-term impact.
