Title of Workshop: Screening, Brief Intervention and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT)

The Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT) workshop, held on 16th, 17th January 24, 2024, was attended by 18 participants and was facilitated by Dr. Salman and Mr. Ameer Bux. The session focused on the SBIRT approach to addressing substance use disorders, including techniques for screening, providing brief interventions, and making appropriate referrals to treatment services. Facilitators guided participants through practical methods for identifying at-risk individuals and offering effective support. Future workshops will provide more in-depth case studies and role-playing to help participants refine their skills in implementing SBIRT.
