Substance Misuse Policy framework
Director Manchester Global Foundation Dr. Rakhshi Memon, along with a delegation of Pakistan Institute of Living and Learning (PILL) led by CEO Prof Nasim Chaudhry, and Prof Imran Bashir Chaudhry accompanied with COO Prof Zainab Zadeh, Senior Research Scientist & Lead Policy Research Unit Dr. Rubeena Kidwai, Assistant Director Research Development and Dissemination Ameer Bux, Clinical Psychologist & Assistant Director Operations Sehrish Tofique, Deputy Manager HR Farhad Jalali, and Psychologist & Co-Lead Policy Research Unit Muhammad Bilal Arif met the Honourable Sindh Health Minister Dr. Azra Fazal Pechuho, Parliamentary Secretary on Health MPA Ms. Nida Khuhro, and Project Lead LHW Programme Dr. Farhana Memon to discuss the updates of IAPT-PK, a joint project of PILL, Sindh Health Department, and People’s Primary Healthcare Initiative (PPHI) for Sukkur and Qambar Shahdadkot. In addition to that, Adoption of the Sindh Mental Health Policy and implementation of Substance Misuse Policy framework were also discussed in the meeting.
