International Psychiatric Conference 2024

The MGF consultants Prof Naseem Chaudhary and Prof. Imran Bashir Chaudhary participated in the two-day International Psychiatric Conference 2024, organized by the Institute of Psychiatry, Rawalpindi Medical University.

A session titled “Advancing Contextualized, Evidence-Based Suicide Prevention in Pakistan: Bridging Research, Policy, and Practice” was chaired and facilitated by Prof. Imran Bashir Chaudhary and co-chaired by Prof. Naseem Chaudhary, and Prof Wahab Yousafzai (Professor of Psychiatry, Shifa International hospital Islamabad) Prof Nasim talked about culturally adapted psychological intervention for prevention of self-harm in adults.
