Day 4 of the Bioethics Summer Program captured some of the most pressing ethical challenges in global health and technology. The day began with Prof. Athula Sumathipala (Keele University) leading a session on Research, Responsibility, and Regulation: Ethical Challenges in Global Health Research. Dr. Salman Shahzad and Dr. Noor Ul Zaman then explored Public Health Ethics: A Focus on Substance Misuse. The afternoon featured informative talks on Ethical Challenges in Research with High-Risk Vulnerable Populations: A Global Perspective, followed by a discussion on AI and mHealth Technologies Ethics in Healthcare by Dr. Peter Novitzky. Dr Rakhshi Memon and Muqaddas Asif.
