Mental Health Awareness Drive held by PILL Pindi

The PILL Rawalpindi Team, under the CaPSI Project, successfully conducted a mental health awareness drive in Islamabad. The initiative included an informative session with 25 CDA health staff members, focusing on mental health issues, symptoms of schizophrenia, treatment options, and referral pathways. The health staff, responsible for community engagement in sectors G-6 and G-7, showed great interest and emphasized the need for community awareness. The team distributed IEC materials, including leaflets, for further dissemination. A door-to-door awareness campaign followed, where the team interacted with families, local workers, and shopkeepers, providing information on mental health issues and advising them to seek professional help for early response and recovery.
