Kenya Eversley

Research Fellow

Kenya Eversley completed her BSc in Social Work and MSc in Applied Psychology in the beautiful island of Barbados. She has worked on a diverse range of research projects throughout the Caribbean with organisations such as UN Women, the World Bank, and psychosocial governmental interventions. These projects, spanning from violence against women and girls to unique social, economic, and environmental challenges, have provided her with a comprehensive understanding of the region’s vulnerabilities. Kenya’s research interests focus on vulnerable communities, mental health stigma, and accessibility to mental health care.

She hopes this research will lead to policy reform surrounding mental health and improve and prioritise mental health care within small island developing states (SIDS).
